Hi, I'm Karen, firstly I would like to thankyou for taking the time to visit my page.

Everyone is being so generous that not only have I upped my target to £3000, I have increased it again to £3500.  So please everyone continue to dig deep, your support is greatly appreciated and needed.

I am a children's nurse working in South Wales. I come from a large military background my dad and 2 brothers are ex PARA, husband and 2 brother in laws ex REME and RE, my daughter has  chosen the footsteps of her father by joining the armed forces and is currently serving in The Royal Navy.  Therefore the Help for Heroes charity has significant meaning to me, and I want to show my appreciation to all those serving personnel past and present, and those that have sadly lost their lives and who have returned home wounded/disabled.

After seeing this fund raising event advertised, I felt that this would be the perfect opportunity for me to show my respect to these brave men and women by participating.  I would be very grateful if you would help me along the way by sponsoring/donating generously (although every penny counts) to this very worthwhile cause.

Too many british service men and women have been killed and/or wounded, fighting for their country and what they believe in. Do you not think that the survivors deserve a little something back?

This will be by far the biggest challenge of my life, as I have never done anything like this before, so please help me to Help our Heroes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
