My personal message:

I completed the challenge on Monday 3rd December, splitting the 50km into two sessions with a 1.5 hour break between each. Times were:

30km - 2hrs 22min & 20km 1hr 38min

It was a long time in the seat but I enjoyed it in an odd way and am looking forward to 100km next time round!

A very big thank you to everyone that's donated, the money will be put to very good use.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a moment of madness I've decided to sign myself up for a 50km row, but having seen the effects a stroke can have on a person I know what a good cause the Stroke Association is.

Plus it's been a while since I've set myself a challenge, I just hope this doesn't end up in 3 years of agony and surgery like trying to run the London Marathon did!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Cheers!
