Hi friends.

 

Thank you for visiting my page, I really do appreciate it.

 

This page and fund-raising effort is very much dedicated to the memory of my beautiful Dawn who passed away on 22 September 2011 after a short illness.

 

As some of you will already know, Dawn died as a result of an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer. This cancer had moved to her lung and liver. It was so aggressive that she was only actually unwell for six weeks and didn't stand a chance.  Before that she'd been very fit and healthy.

 

Thankfully, Dawn experienced very little pain and suffering, but her passing has left a huge gap in my life and the lives of those closest to her.

 

Dawn had a very childlike nature and loved the simple things in life like watching a sunset or walking barefoot in the sea.  If you ever asked how old she was, her response would invariably be "3 and a half and a bit".

 

My overriding memory of her and our time together is the amount of fun and laughter there was every day.

 

If Dawn had lived a little longer and had been able to come home, the Macmillan Cancer Support would've been the people we'd have turned to for assistance. This is why I chose them as the charity that we wish to support.

 

This is a 5 year fundraising plan and as you can see, it's going well. there will be many events taking place over the next few years, but don't feel you have to wait for one of them to donate.

 

Please feel free to give as little or as much as you like. Whatever the amount, I, my beautiful Dawn and her family really appreciate it.
