Story
I really do love my long hair... So I thought, why not make a sacrifice and chop it off for charity!
My chosen charity is Samaritans, a charity which is available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress, despair or suicidal thoughts.
Having battled depression for the majority of my teenage life, a charity such as Samaritans is very important to me. My nan volunteered for them before I was born, and at some point, they saved my dad's life too, which is why they hold a very special place in my heart.
I'll be chopping off about 45 cm, or almost 18 inches, of hair and the hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment
The cut will take place once £250 has been raised for Samaritans, and you will still be able to donate after the cut.
