Next March I will be climbing the 20,000ft to the summit of Kilimanjaro over a 7 day trek to raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice.  The training is hard and not optional and I have already improved massively my own level of fitness, not to mention having lost a stone!

The work of the hospice is very underfunded & at the same time also so valuable in terms of rehabilitation from treatment & end of life care so I am keen to raise as much as I can for them. As many of you are aware I have had personal experience of what terminal illness can do to a patient and their family & believe that the choices of care offered by the Ayrshire Hospice give patients options to enable independance.
