We are planning to raise as much money as we can before we arrive in , to contribute to the worthwhile work that the charity does, providing basic care that we take for granted.
This is a cause that is very close to our hearts, as we see so many poorly children in hospital here in the UK, and they all recieve the best possible healthcare. We want to raise money so that these disadvantaged children will have the care that they deserve when they are sick.
A Children's Hospital has been set up which provides free medical care for poor and underprivileged children.
A Mobile Clinic travels to people that cannot access healthcare in the slums, rural and remote areas, providing essential healthcare, diagnostic techniques, treatment and operations.
There is also an Orphanage which houses children, mainly those who have disabilities, along with elderly and homeless women. For the past three years there has been a school for children with special needs running on this site.
These projects require £10,000 per month to continue, and the charity is planning to send its mobile clinics to more villages, expand the hospital and to create a hospice for children with HIV and terminal illnesses in the future, so anything that you could donate would be much appreciated!
