Hello! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  

My mum Lily has inspired me to run the London marathon in April to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. When mum was diagnosed with this devastating disease, our world fell apart. But over the past ten months I have watched her successfully fight her diagnosis with courage and dignity every step of the way. Despite having to endure countless trips to the hospital and take an endless supply of pills, mum’s strength has never wavered. I only have admiration for her bravery in how she has beaten cancer.  

If I can muster up even half the strength mum has shown in the last year – then I know I will be able to complete the 26 miles – hopefully even in a decent time!  If I can raise awareness for a cause that has not only affected my family but can help others diagnosed with bowel cancer, then I hope I’ll be doing my mum proud.

I know you are often asked to dig deep for people’s charitable pursuits – but this really is a cause close to my heart and I would be grateful for any support you are able to give.
