Hi all,
In June I am heading to the Ardeche in France to take part in a 65km canoe race (YES 65 KILOMETRES!!) to raise money for RICHARD HOUSE - a hospice near the city.
Richard House provide care & support to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families. They are reliant on voluntary donations. They might spend your donations on medical supplies, physio, accomodation for families or music for the children. See www.richardhouse.org.uk for more.
Please please please sponsor me for this incredible charity - ALL of your money goes STRAIGHT to the charity - none of it is used on getting there, food or for the equipment! I know some of you might think its a doddle for someone with such a healthy, body-is-a-temple attitude and with the huge toned arm muscles that I boast ... however having slightly lapsed at the gym recently
and not being a regulor canoeist I think it is still a worthy challenge (in addition of which I need to figure out a way to have a celebratory drink when my arms will probably feel like they are about to fall off... I'll be taking a large straw!)
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Richard House Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
