We provide expert care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses

Story

On 18th May Team KBL are running the BUPA Great Manchester 10 km run in aid of Bolton Hospice.  Only 1 of us has ever entered a 10km run before, most of us are novice runners and may not make it through the experience alive.  We are all risking public humiliation because we believe the charity is a worthwhile and important cause.  Please donate whatever you can afford, and we'll see you at the finish line, hopefully sometime before midnight.

The team at Bolton Hospice is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and the people close to them who face the problems associated with life-threatening disease.  The care they provide is not just limited to the physical needs of the patient but they also ensure that the spiritual and psychological aspects of care are met too.  They also offer support and bereavement counselling to the family of those diagnosed with a terminal condition.  Only a small fraction of the Hospice's running costs are met by Government funding and they could not continue to offer their services to the people of Bolton without donations from the public and the help of volunteers.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Bolton Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please donate now!

Many thanks for your support.
