About my charity : Brainwave Brainwave
Brainwave, established in 1982,supports brain injured children from throughout the UK. It provides home based programmes of rehabilitation Families stay at the Centre, whilst the child is fully assessed. Exercises are prescribed which are taught to the parents. Children are reassessed at intervals of six months.

My personal message:

We are delighted that you are able to join us for the KCOM Charity Golf day on 2nd July 2008.  We had great success last year when we raised over £9,000 but we are determined to raise even more this year for our charity Brainwave.  The charity works with children suffering from brain injury, developmental delay or genetic conditions.

We will be having an individual event in the morning (over 9 holes) with the main event (team competition) in the afternoon.  Forest Pines is a fantastic 27-hole golf course with challenging fairways and natural woods and heathland and has proved to be a great venue in the past.  Directions and further details can be found at www.forestpines.co.uk
 
There will be a minimum donation of £60 per person as an entrance fee (everything donated will go to Brainwave).  We will also be asking for additional prizes and donations as we will be hosting raffles and auctions in the evening – please make sure that you bring your wallets and are feeling generous!
