My story

So the time has come to cut my hair!! I started to grow my hair in January 2001 “the curly hair days”. Then in June 2003 a trip to Camden locks hair dressers turned my hair into the matted ropes we know and love today. They were only just above shoulder length then, now almost 9 years later, they are just above my arse!

I have decided such a momentous occasion should be used to raise some money for the Grove house hospice, a charity that is close to my heart.  Grove House leads the way in supporting patients, families and friends living with cancer or a life-threatening illness in St.Albans, Harpenden and Hemel Hempstead. They have given enormous help and support to my Father and family over the past 3 and a half years. They are an amazing charity and don’t charge a penny for their services. So they partly rely on donations to continue to help people and their families.
