I took part in the annual Surrey Three Peaks challenge in March. It raised at least £3000 but you can still donate. Every little helps as they say.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Along with your generous gifts and our own donations and the tax added, to January 2011 we have collected £3416.51and that is really getting results in the township. Many more children have started school this term. The money is always used efficiently by Gail, the local organiser.
Time to increase the target by a further £1000, which I hope we will reach during this year.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the best way to sponsor me: The Oliver Charitable Foundation gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Just imagine, an extra 28% if you can click to say it is your own hard earned cash !
So please donate something now! My daughter, Sharon, started the Oliver Foundation in 2007 to create education and skills opportunities for young people growing up in disadvantaged communities in South Africa. However small your donation, it will help create an opportunity for someone to become a valuable member of their community, just £10 will fund an after school class for 20 children and £60 will fund school fees, a uniform, school bag and pencils for a year. Take a look at www.theoliverfoundation.com site and see what is being achieved with your donations.
