Hi my name is Ken Scarratt from North Hykeham in Lincolnshire, and as we all know in the current climate 2011 has been hard, not just for me but for everybody, and with the influence of two close friends and my family i have decided that i would do some good and do the Great Wall of China Walk on behalf of Macmillan Cancer support.

This all came about from my own personnel well being, and my mother being diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and with the current climate, i felt i would do something positive and bring some good to others in more need.

Where do you come in, i am asking for your support in sponsoring me to raise funds .for Macmillan Cancer Support in return i will walk the Great wall of China in September of 2012.

From my own personnel point this challenge is something I have never done, I usually go everywhere from behind a wheel so I have put down the car keys and bought myself a pair of boots and for the next 10 months will enter a training schedule to enable me to take on the ten days to do the Great wall of China Walk and raise support for the Macmillan Cancer Support.
