Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Patrice & I will be running in the Hatfield 10K on 18th October and hope you can help us raise money for a great cause. A friend of mine from work has recently found at that his young Son has Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy and we will be running to raise money for the White Lodge Centre who support disabled children, adults and their families in the Surrey area who are affected by Cerebral Palsy. This race will be the first that we have run together, and hopefully will raise a great deal of money for this charity. So please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: White Lodge will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support!
Kevin & Patrice
The Race
Date & Time: Sunday 18 Oct 2009, 11:00am
Venue: Hatfield House, Herts
The Hatfield 10K is run in aid of Cancer Research UK (http://www.cancerresearchuk.org). It starts and finishes on Queen Elizabeth Oak Field, the course is undulating with a couple of hills. The multi terrain course passes through historic grounds where Elizabeth I lived as a child, and found out she was to become Queen. We aim to finish the race in around an hour and 15 mins.
White Lodge Centre
White Lodge Centre provides a range of flexible and creative activities and opportunities for disabled children, young people and adults, for their families and for carers across Surrey and the surrounding area.
The Centre is as unique and individual as all the children, teenagers and adults we work with each year. We recognise that everyone is different and our focus is to offer the activities and opportunities that we are asked for. Our highly skilled, experienced and passionate staff ensure that with support and encouragement people are able to achieve their goals.
