Every day, at least 2 children are diagnosed with a liver disease. Kian born in March 2005, was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare liver disorder for which there is no cure other than ultimately a liver transplant. We have had first hand experience of the devastating effect this illness has on the families of those affected. This worthy charity dedicates resource to both supporting families and funding education and research to help fight childhood liver disease.
Kian was put on the UK transplant list in October 2005 and we were very lucky to get a donor in January this year. We will be forever grateful to the family who lost their loved one and took the decision to donate. Please help us show our appreciation for the support provided to us by the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation by sponsoring me, my mum and my aunt. We will be running the hydro active womens challenge this Sept.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Children's Liver Disease Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax can be added to your gift at no cost to you. Don't forget to use those corporate matching schemes too if eligible.
thanks alot from Nish, Nish's aunt and Kian's nani
