I am asking for sponsorship for completion of the Great North Run (Half Marathon) in September 2005.

The money will go to support the Calvert Trust Kielder, whose website can be found at http://www.calvert-trust.org.uk/kielder/ . They are amazing and have really changed my life: they have such a "can do" attitude for disabled people.

I am a full-time wheelchair user with 24 hour care needs and I go for short breaks there, where I go climbing, abseilling, on the zipwire, sailing, motorboating, canoeing - the list is endless and amazing. I find wheelchair racing very difficult but very rewarding and am determined to raise this money.
