Story

In November 2011, I started running. I haven't really stopped since. I ran the North Tyneside 10k in April 2012, I ran the Blaydon Race in June 2012. I've run a couple of half marathons, but missed the Hadrian's Wall Half Marathon in September. Now I'm running a Marathon in October, and I could really do with some motivation to get me round the reservoir. Seriously.

To anyone who sponsored me in April, thanks, and I promise not to tap anyone up again until I run The Wall in June next year, honest. That'll be 69 miles of daftness, run over two days, so I really need to get some distances in beforehand.

No, really seriously, I have no idea how I'll make it around 26.2 miles, the furthest I've run is 13.1 miles, and that left me in a dreadful state for days - if I think there's a few quid for a good cause on the line, it might just keep me plodding...
