Kiera was a very happy and loving Daughter who would always try and please all around her. She would light up any room with her smile and passion for life.
In her short life Kiera touched the hearts of many with her positive attitude and never moaned once about the treatment she received whilst she battled with cancer. If only we could all take a small percentage of the strength she demonstrated in the rest of our lives then we shall have no cause for concern.Kiera provided support to others who were suffering. This in itself is a good characteristic, however bearing in mind the suffering she was going through herself, remarkable.
We remember numerous conversations at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital in Newcastle where Kiera was more concerned about other children that had cancer and trying to help them rather than worrying about herself and her condition.
Throughout the 14 months the Doctors and Nurses at the RVI along with the staff at CLIC Sargent provided our family with tremendous support. They were there for us when we needed them and we would like to thank them by increasing awareness of children's cancer and raising funds so that they can continue to assist other families who have to deal with their children's cancer.
