Hello, my name is Kieron Murphy aka The Freedom Spider. The reason I am pictured wearing a Spiderman costume is that I will be running a grand total of 350 competitive miles over 13 months in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, in that very outfit.

My journey shall commence with the Hastings Half Marathon on the 16th March 2008.

16th March - Hastings Half Marathon - 1 hr 35 mins

30th March - Paddock Wood Half - 1 hr 32 mins 55 secs

6th April - Dunsfold 10K - 44 mins 58 secs

26th April - Superhero 10K, Brighton - 43 mins...ish

27th April - Hastings Runners' 5 miles - 34 mins 25 secs

11th May - Horsham Lion's 10K

18th May - Essex 10 Mile Championship 2008

25th May - Canterbury Half Marathon

1st June - Seaford Half Marathon

8th June - Southend Half Marathon

22nd June - Orpington 10K

29th June - The Dysart Dash 10K

6th July - Bewl Water 15 miles

20th July - Dartford Half Marathon

27th July - Dinosaur 10K, Deal

31st July - Near As Damn It 10K, Coulsdon

14th September - Wingham 10K, Canterbury

21st September - Beckley 10K

28th September - Folkestone Half Marathon

12th October - Asics Kingston Running Festival, 16 miles

14th December - Hastings 100th Anniversary Marathon
