'Village Education Project (Kilimanjaro)' works with local communities to build, renovate and assist government primary schools in the Mount Kilimanjaro region. The project aims to provide children with the education they need to become self-supporting citizens, and has recently received approval from the Tanzanian government to embark on a long-term programme of school and teacher development.

My story

Hello everyone!

We (Paul, Paula and Owen) aim to ascend all 5895m of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world. We hope to raise money for the Village Education Project. This small charity is dedicated to improving education in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. For more information, please refer to their website: www.kiliproject.org

We are bearing all costs ourselves; so your donations will not will finance our travel expenses and climb.
