Story

So........here we are again... dear friends, harrassed family members, confused brethren and exhausted work colleagues.....

There are the same old hiking boots, the same old battered backpack and the same old limp which became such a familiar feature in the office during the summer of 2011,

although, WAIT! There is something new.........

Hold onto your hats.......'coz it's gonna be BIGGER, BETTER, HOTTER, HIGHER ..........

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY........(drum roll please....)

THERE'S A MCNURSE!!!!!!!! (<insert 'ta da' noise here>)

Myself and Sarah have stupidly, STUPIDS-LY I TELLS YA! - decided that the wonderful people at Practical Action need our help and because we're not really 'sponsored chess match' kinda people, we thought the best thing to do was climb the world's highest trek-able mountian, 300 miles away from the equator, in the middle of August!

(I know that you're thinking and you're right, it's GENIUS!)

Showing absolute disregard for our social lives or physical and mental health, we have 8 months to raise £5,000 and get fit enough climb 19,380 feet, through five different sub-climates & there is a heavy chance our eyeballs will explode due to the altitude sickness - a fact we're choosing to ignore for the meantime, although I thought it was worth a mention.

We have all manner of things lined up - sleeping not being one of them - for the next few months and yes, you WILL be involved. Start off here, throw a couple of quid our way - whatever you can afford - and then come and join us in our mad MAD exploits of fundrasing across the country (told ya this time it was BIGGER!)....

thanks guys, you is good people xxx
