Suprise!!

 

I've decided to climb Ben Nevis, and as you can see from the photos above, its for a brilliant cause: My Niece Trinity and the charity that works to develop treatments to help alleviate the symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis and funds research into hopefully one day developing a cure for people just like her. As yet there is no known cure for Trinity's condition, but thanks to the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust the outlook is getting better all the time.

As far as the task at hand goes, for anyone who's met me this may come as a bit of a surprise..firstly, theres no where to buy chocolate or wine ANYWHERE on Ben Nevis, and its my understanding that its usually rather cold, wet and windy, however I'm going to put my walking boots on (although I don't have any yet) and give it my best shot to get to the top.

My training shedule is going to consist of lots of trips to playzone with Trinity (who is a harder task master than any personal trainer that I can afford) aswell as walking up and down Primrose Hill, or any other incline I can find. Failing that I'm going to pray to the Gods to spare me.

Im not sure how this is going to pan out..  but I am 100% sure that I want to in some way contribute to this great cause, and I hope you all feel the same. I don't mind if you only donate pennies! because if enough of you do, then I will still hit my target.
