Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One evening in December 2012, I decided in a moment of madness that I wanted to do somthing to truely test myself and use the willpower and determination I had used throughout my weight loss journey with somthing totally obscure. Thats when the decision for taking part in 'Across the walk' came about. By completing this event,  it will bring together all of my hard work and determination used to lose the 5 stone I have lost to date. Five stone was my main target to get too.

So, I decided to enter somthing which was a test ( I would call walking 20k, a test for me) and to do this event for a charity who have helped me a lot over recent years. This charity is Action on Hearing Loss ( formally known as RNID)

As many of you know I suffer from a hearing impairment in both ears, this has unfortunatley got worse, and Action on Hearing loss has been able to advise me on different types of hearing aids, financial assistance and many other things.

My friend of many years Helen is also taking part in this event with me. Just imagine how much gossiping we could do over a 20k walk!!

I would really appreciate any sponsorship you can donate to this amazing cause.

Thank you for your support.
