Cherry Trees provides home from home specialist short breaks for children and young people aged 0-19 with a range of disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments. We believe that every child is an individual with the right to enjoy a normal pattern of life in the community

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Thanks  for your  support -  Cherry Trees has  been Nick's  second home  and our  rock for  11 years  now. The value of respite care for families of kids who have Challenging  Behaviour is  very  underestimated and  rarely  available, and the unconditional love of the carers shown to their  charges is  beyond belief.

When I run  I  always  keep coming back to the thought of  my lad and those who  do everything for him whilst were on a Respite Break. . It will be  a pleasure to run for them.

Cherry  Trees is  building  a much-needed new Kitchen and funds  are  badly  needed.  Please help if you can  - your  donation will go directly  towards  bricks, paint and  kitchen fitting !!

Attached  pic  is  Nick with one of his devoted ever-present carers ,Steve, on the day the mobile farm visiited this  summer.
