Feed The Children focuses on the needs of impoverished children and their families across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, South America and elsewhere. There are two main aims; to provide emergency aid in the event of disasters, and to support long-term projects that build for sustainable community growth.

My story

Dear family, friends and collegues

In the interest of stepping out of the rat race and doing something 'worthwhile', 10 months ago I signed up for a 6-day endurance event, which will see 200 competitors, traverse the Namibian desert, covering approximately 250 km's.

Yes, yes, it's crazy, but hey, who said stepping out of the rat race would be easy? Time has most certainly flown, training complete (well almost) and on 16 May we face this challenge.

Many of you have been interested in my training progress and have asked repeatedly about sponsorship. So, for those interested in sponsoring me, I'd be very thankful if you support a charity which I have supported for many years. THANKS!!!
