Dear family, friends and collegues
In the interest of stepping out of the rat race and doing something 'worthwhile', 10 months ago I signed up for a 6-day endurance event, which will see 200 competitors, traverse the Namibian desert, covering approximately 250 km's.
Yes, yes, it's crazy, but hey, who said stepping out of the rat race would be easy? Time has most certainly flown, training complete (well almost) and on 16 May we face this challenge.
