My name is Kathryn and I am a Pharmacist who suffers from depression. I returned to work in March 2017 after experiencing a recurrence of severe depression, which meant I was unable to work for 3 months. 

I was very fortunate to get access to a Psychiatrist and a Clinical Psychologist through my husband's private healthcare, as the wait for NHS treatment was too long.

Pharmacist Support provides pharmacy students, pre-registration pharmacy trainees and pharmacists, who are less fortunate than me, with a confidential helpline, counselling and wellbeing workshops.

I started fundraising for Pharmacist Support in 2016 by baking. In 2017 I celebrated PS 176th birthday by skydiving & in 2018 I ran Cardiff 10K dressed as Wonder Woman.

In 2019 I’m celebrating Pharmacist Support 178th birthday by making cakes that can be delivered throughout Great Britain #cakebypost
