Story

Hiya

I'm running to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research, while also hopefully raising my fitness levels.   Because I haven't plucked up the courage / insanity to attempt a half marathon yet, instead I'm challenging myself to beat my previous 10k personal best time of 57 minutes (completed when I was fit, healthy and a boot camp recruit in Sydney).    The target for Petworth is 55 mins (help!).

It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me for this race, or for the 8k Running4Women race in Brighton in October (www.justgiving.com/kvj), or both - both sites donate to the same charity, so it's up to you!

Breast cancer kills more than 35 people a day in the UK....which means that by the end of each month, breast cancer has claimed the lives of more than 1,000 of our mothers, daughters, sisters.....

Breakthrough is the UK's leading charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breakthrough Breast Cancer will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Many thanks for your support!

Kersty xx
