Hi all,
On the 18th October 2008, the KW Naomi House Charity Committee will be doing a 10 mile walk to raise money for this very worthwhile charity. The walk will start at 10am in Odiham, between Aldershot and Basingstoke. We will pass Dogmersfield House, Tundry Pond and then travel up along the Basingstoke Canal to pass Odiham Castle, before heading back via Greywell and finishing in Odiham. We will be raising money for Naomi House which is a children's hospice based in Sutton Scotney, near Winchester. Naomi House opened in June 1997 to provide respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and families from across the south of England and is very dependent upon voluntary and charitable support. As you can see, we have set ourselves a very challenging target and we would therefore be grateful for any support that you can provide. For anyone who would like photgraphic evidence, we shall be publishing an "after" photo of us, on this site following the walk (which could be quite comical, particularly if it's a wet and windy day!)
