Story
This October Richard Anelay, Lewis Black, Joe Platt and Alex Brinton will be cycling 750 miles across Vietnam in order to raise money for CLIC Sargent - a charity that helps children and young people with cancer. We will be travelling a minimum of 50 miles a day for 14 days!
We have organised the trip ourselves so that all the money we raise will go directly to the charity, and make a huge difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Cancer has had a big impact on our lives; affecting Richard when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2011, aged 18. The charity helped him throughout his treatment and has provided on-going care ever since. Several of Richard’s family members have also suffered with cancer, and the illness has unfortunately taken the life of one of his cousins.
CLIC Sargent is an amazing charity that helped Richard out a lot. Whilst he has luckily been given the all clear, 10 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer every day! We want to make sure CLIC Sargent can be there for all of them.
