Story
Little Lana Ruth was born very early at just less than 27 weeks...Weighing less than 2lbs. She was very pretty. She had lovely long fingers, a cute little nose and big blue wide eyes. Her four brothers would have been so proud. In fact they are and they ask questions about her and talk about her all the time. Lana decided she would be early and as the doctors prepared to give me a cesarean she arrived in her amniotic sac. Lana survived many obstacles and came home from hospital before her due date( after 9 weeks). I remember the admiring glances and feeling so very proud of this tiny person ~I held in my arms. After 3 months and 14 days I couldn't wake you one morning little Lana, my love. We will always miss you.
For Lana's tenth anniversary I took part in ten events (from March to March) from a half marathon to a triathlon in order to raise money for FSID and stand up for tiny lives to help prevent this from happening to another family.
I completed the Brighton marathon on April 18th last year. All the wonderful support we received in memory of our dear daughter little Lana, kept me going till the finish line. Lana was with me every step.
Thank you every one for all we have achieved together.
& Finally !!!! (I think its the last one!)
This year I hope to complete the London marathon on 17th April.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Thank you to everyone for all their support.
And a big thank you from all of us.
