Mission accomplished. We completed the trip in 12 days covering a distance of 917 miles. Can't say that we enjoyed every minute - cycling in the rain is no fun but the good times massively outweighed the bad and we both enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone who sponsored us.

David and I will be cycling the 900 miles in 12 days from 4th to 15th July. At an average of 75 miles a day this will be a challenge of endurance for Dad (that's me - definitely) and son (David - most probably)!!!
Treetops Hospice in our village of Risley are currently trying through their "Ripple Appeal" to raise a massive sum of money to extend their buildings and so enable them to offer more services to people in need of their help. With about £300,000 still to raise it is our chance to help and move them a little closer to their target. Please give generously - it is a great cause offering help to people and families when they need it most.
Plan is to travel:-
Day 1: Land's End to Camelford (80 miles); 2: Wellington (80); 3: Monmouth (85): 4: Shrewsbury (70); 5: Warrington (50); 6: Kendal (65); 7: Dumfries (80): 8: Stewarton (70); 9: Bridge of Orchy (80); 10: Fort Augustus (75); 11: Brora (85); 12: John O'Groats (65).

A week into the journey and things are going well. Just entering Scotland and feeling tired but determined to push on and finish the Journey.
