So, I'm attempting the Great North Run for the first time and thought I would try and raise money for this great cause at the same time. It's a local hospice that my dad has been involved with over many years and provides care to people with life limiting illnesses, as well as help and support for their families and careers. This is by no means a walk in the park and I'll be concentrating on getting to the finish line in one piece!
