Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and thank you so much to those of you have kindly sponsored me so far! In February 2007 I took part in a charity trek in Tanzania and during the trek I visited the school pictured. It was a very touching experience. The school has over 400 pupils and faces a serious lack of space and a severe lack of teaching supplies with up to five pupils sharing one desk made for two and one pencil between those five. After my visit I knew that I had to do something to help and I am now working with a small charity called Community Projects Africa to go back out there in October with a team of people to take part in a build and furnish of two classrooms at the school. I also hope that as a group we raise enough funds to fund teaching posts for the school. It will definitely be the most rewarding challenge that I've taken part in to date and it'll be great to have such a direct positive impact on the lives of so many children. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Community Projects Africa will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
