It was only just over 3 months ago, that I was retiring from 'serious' running, having completed the Great North Run, yet now I find myself creating this page and asking you to sponsor me for the marathon! I'm not sure how that happened but what I am sure of is that I am running for a very worthy cause. My late father was a veterinary surgeon, so my passion for the care and welfare of animals started at a very young age. I have also been lucky enough that when one of my dogs needed specialist care she was treated by the experts at the AHT, so I have first hand exprience of the wonderful work they do. Animals play an important role in many peoples lives. Please donate what you can to help towards research and treatment for all creatures great and small.
