During my gap year I volunteered every week at Hazon Yeshaya which is a soup kitchen - a centre which provides meals, 365 days a year, to those who cannot provide for themselves. It provides 400,000 hot meals a month, over 70% of which go to children of school age. Hazon Yeshaya has over 60 distribution points, and provides for people regardless of race or religion. It also supplies groceries to those who are more able to make meals at their homes, and provides health (including dental) care too.

Having volunteered here for a year, I know how dedicated and hard working the kitchen staff are and having sat with the people who eat there I can see what a huge and immediate effect Hazon Yeshaya has on their lives.
Hazon Yeshaya is feeling the current financial situation just as much as anyone else, but it is feeling it on behalf of its thousands of clients too. The money kindly donated by you will go to ensuring that these people get at least a hot meal every day.
SO - I WILL BE JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE AT 13,000 FEET AND FREEFALLING TO EARTH AT OVER 120 MPH TO RAISE LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY FOR HAZON YESHAYA!
