My story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The LawWorks team will once again be walking 10K around the legal landmarks in London starting at the Royal Courts of Justice. It will be the 5th Legal Walk to be held. Last year there were 3,400 walkers across the many participating Walk Teams who collectively raised over £360,000. More information about the London Legal Walk 2008 can be found at: http://londonlegalsupporttrust.org.uk.

All funds received by the Trust through this page will be donated without deduction to LawWorks.

LawWorks

Thousands of people in need receive pro bono help each year through LawWorks Clinics, free mediations and in-depth case work.  Hundreds of community groups have also received free legal help through the LawWorks for Community Groups programme.  LawWorks also encourages and supports pro bono activity at universities and law schools across the country.

With your help we aim to maintain these services and expand to areas not yet served by organised pro bono schemes. (www.lawworks.org.uk)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: London Legal Support Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Many thanks for your support.
