Imagine being told that you, or someone you love, is losing their sight. In that moment, two profound questions demand urgent answers: Can this be stopped? How will I live my life? We fund the brilliant minds and bright ideas, putting change in sight for everyone impacted by vision loss.

Story

Hi everyone

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Jackson was recently diagnosed with Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA). It's a genetic eye condition that means he has trouble with his vision. Currently, there isn't a cure for this condition but, ground-breaking genetic research is  currently being carried out and the initial results are very exciting! The treatment has significantly improved the vision of some of the patients. This is where we need your help...

The professor who looks after Jackson has said that it is more than likely that something will happen during Jackson's lifetime to help his vision. But those of you who know me will know how impatient I am - so I am trying to hurry things along!

Please help me to raise some money towards research into this condition by donating through this page - all donations will go straight to the research fund for LCA. Also - keep a look out for some charity events coming up in 2009.

Your support is really appreciated xx
