At the beginning of July, we'll be cycling from London to Paris to raise £6,000 for the Leading for Life scholarship and conference fund!
Leading for Life* is an annual gathering for young Christian leaders from different parts of Europe and Central Asia. They are gifted, motivated and passionate about reaching their generation—at school and university, in their workplace and local community.
We've both played key roles in making Leading for Life happen and have seen first hand how young leaders who come to this gathering are inspired, energised and encouraged. This is why we are taking part in the 2009 Leading for Life Challenge. We want to make it possible for young Christian leaders from Albania, Romania and Kyrgyzstan to attend the Leading for Life 2009 gathering.
But we can not complete this challenge by ourselves. We need your support at every point along the way from Marble Arch to Le Arch de Triumph. Here is how you can participate in the 2009 Leading for Life Challenge:
BECOME A SPONSOR:
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leading for Life gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Just select 'sponsor us now' below.
FOLLOW THE JOURNEY:
You can follow our training and find out more about the sponsored ride through our blog: http://leadingforlife.wordpress.com/
During the ride, you'll be able to listen to a daily podcast that documents the ride. After the ride, you can watch the journey unfold through a video blog.
