Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
If you've found your way to this page you have probably heard about my challenge to cycle from London to Paris at the end of July this year, 200 miles in 3 days.
I’m taking part in this midlife quest with my friend Holly Clough – (check out her just giving page - hollybikestoparis). We both turned forty in recent months and wanted to do something to stop things heading south. I think we were misheard because here we are training to cycle south.
I’m facing this challenge in support of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. In recent months two people I know have been transported to hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the first a friend who suffered a heart attack, the second a family member who suffered serious head injuries following a road traffic accident. Without a doubt the swift action of the Air Ambulance and the professionalism of it’s crew saved the lives of Ian and Paul. A sore bottom and tired legs is the least I can do.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance saves lives – one day it could be yours or your loved ones, so please support me in my challenge to raise as much as possible for this fantastic asset to our region.
Remember if you’re not poor enough to receive charity then you’re rich enough to give it. Without wanting to sound too much like a TV ad, every little helps.
