This page has been set up on behalf of Lee's mother, Sue Williams and his father Dave Haynes, in memory of their very special son who died of renal complications at the age of 25.
"Lee Haynes was a young man loved and respected by everyone who knew him and will never be forgotten for his incredible drumming skills and his love of life".
Lee's parents are dedicated to raising funds for the Lister Hospital 's Renal Research Institute in the hope that the research undertaken there will prevent other lives being lost to renal failure. The new unit will be named in Lee's memory.
Sue says "I have had tremendous support for my charity from everyone who knew Lee including his father, Lee's friends, my friends and Lee's consultant Dr Paul Warwicker FRCP MD.
Various events have taken place to reach our target, but we need more money to help purchase specialist renal equipment. If you would like to raise money by organising an event or make a donation, please contact me on 01462 635281 or contact enhance herts, the umbrella charity on 01438 781682."
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Lee Haynes Nightingale Fund and the Renal Research Institute will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 25% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you. You can also send cheques directly to enhance herts, Lister Hospital L96, Stevenage, SG1 4AB and these will not incur the 5% administration charge from Justgiving.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
