About the charity : East Anglian Air Ambulance East Anglian Air Ambulance
The East Anglian Air Ambulance now runs two fully medically equipped helicopters (code-named Anglia One and Anglia Two) serving the people of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Between the two helicopters they are able to provide a life-saving resource, reaching patients quickly and if required, transporting them to the most suitable hospital (rather than the nearest) within minutes. On-going public support is essential to enable us to continue offering this vital service and we are very grateful for your kind donation.

Personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. For those of you who know me a big hello and please dig deep, and those who do'nt;My name is Lee Smith i'm currantly 41yrs old (42 on the pennines) i live with Vanessa Keeble(whoes everthing to me)Sam (the dog)and Molly (the cat).

On the 8th of  September,2008 i shall be setting of from Edale south Yorkshire to Kirk Yetholm Scotland.A journey of 270 miles on the Pennine way.All in the name of charity and the one i've chosen is air ambulance.

The reason i've choose air ambulance is because of a event which happened to me about 6 years ago.One wet afternoon  traveling home in a frends car we had the misfortune to witness a fatal accident. In which two children were thrown from a car.I called 999 and the air ambulance was very quick to arrive and shipped a very poorly boy(about 5 yrs old) with head injures of to west Suffolk hospital.

But sadly the little boy  never made it.And has played on my mind ever since how importent this service is within the East Anglian community as we all know how isolated  some parts in East Anglia!

So please please dig deep and invest into a worthy charity as it's not even funded by your goverment!THANK YOU!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: East Anglian Air Ambulance will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
