St Oswald’s is a purpose-built hospice in Gosforth providing care for adults and children in north east England. It follows a holistic approach that aims to address not just physical symptoms, but also spiritual and emotional needs too. It offers specialist short breaks to children with progressive, life shortening conditions and provides specialist care for children, as well as support and advice for parents, within a relaxed, home-from-home environment.

This will complete a challenging year beginning with the 2006 Great North Run and ending with the completion of my MA dissertation followed immediately by my departure for India. Along the way I'll be training including trekking up Snowdon twice.
