My story

CONGRATULATIONS TO MARK HANDS-HEART

who is the winner of our sweepstake, guessing a time of 99 hours and 59 minutes, very close to our final total time of 99 hours and 50 minutes.

Thanks very much to everyone who entered the sweepstake.  Together with our other fundraising, our LEJOG cycle ride has raised over £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support - and we've had a great time while doing it.

19 June - We're now on our way, so any entries made after this date unfortunately will not count, but please still send us your donations!  You can check our progress on our website at http://www.LEJOGcycle2008.co.uk

Guess how long it will take the 14 of us to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats in June 2008 and you could win a fantastic GIANT mountain bike

How the time will be calculated:
- the clock will start when the first person starts to cycle from our accomodation each morning and finish when the last person arrives at the accommodation that evening (ie it includes all tea and lunch and just-too-exhausted-to-carry-on breaks).
- the total for each day will then be added together for the 11 days that the trip is planned for.

How to enter:
Simply donate a minimum of £2 through this page (which goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support) and include your estimate (in hours and minutes) in the comments box.  If you could possibly spare £5 for your entry that would be fantastic, as it would mean that we would raise 150% more money for Macmillan - or alternatively, you could multiply your chances of winning, and enter the sweepstake several times!   And please pass on to all your friends - even if they don't know us - and persuade them to part with £2 too.

So that we know how to contact you if you win, please make sure you check the box that says you agree to us being able to contact you by email.  And don't forget to write your time estimate in the comments box...!
