Thank you SO, SO much for all of you generous contributions to our 'wee' bike ride. We all thoroughly enjoyed it - a truly memorable experience. I would really recommend a challenge like this of some sort to everyone - it fills you with such exhilaration and fulfilment (as well as some sore aches & pains!) - but it is well worth it.

We've all learnt many things over the trip, including how to get plenty of food into our bodies, the most comfortable cloting to wear and how to ease some of the aches. If anyone is interested in 'following in our footsteps' we'd all be more than happy to give you some tips and encouragement.
