My story

Dear Colleagues, Friends and Family, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 13th April this year I ran in the 2008 London Marathon to raise money for the Ileostomy & Internel Pouch Support Group. I finished the marathon in 4:51 and, thanks to the generous donations of so many friends and family, have been able to exceed my original fundraising target. If you haven't already sponsored me, please do to support this very worthwhile charity.

The IA were a fantastic source of support and comfort to Emma before, during and after the two operations she underwent to treat ulcerative colitis. For anyone facing this kind of life-changing surgery, the reassurance that can be won from talking to people who've been through it themselves and come out smiling on the other side is absolutely priceless.

Please help them to continue providing invaluable support, information and advice to people facing this major surgery by sponsoring my 26.2 mile pain-fest! (Actually, it was such a fantastic experience that it was more like a 26.2 mile fun run!)

Thanks so much for your support.

Leo
