The murder of James Bulger touched everyones hearts. A Trust Fund in Memory Of James has been set up by Denise and Family. Its to help victims of bullying and to reward Children who do good. So far there is a holiday home in James's name where children can go for a well deserved break with their family. The holiday home need's to be funded and I am embarking on a swim For James in the New Year. I need to train for this as I want to swim 300 lenghs. The date of my sponsored swim is Sunday 19th February 2012. I will be mentioned in The Liverpool Echo and The Flintshire Chronicle in the New Year.

Still swimming three nights a week, lost my muffin top too!! Actually had to go buy a smaller cossy..........Just have problems with my goggles steaming up and digging in!! 2nd December 2011 106 lengths tonight. Got cramp too, hope I don't get cramp on the big day! 8th December. There are collection buckets in The Black Lion Northop Hall and Spavens Sweet Shop in Mold. My wonderful Son has designed two fantastic posters for the buckets.

I was on RADIO CITY with PETER PRICE last night and I can honestly say it wasnt haf as bad as I thought it was going to be. Never been so scared in my entire life !! My nerves we're in shatter's!! Dusted my entire bedroom waiting to go on air Lol !!

MY SWIM FOR JAMES BLOG!

Went to bed at 9pm after large bowl of pasta, glass of water and ANOTHER BLOODY BANANA!!!

I dreamt last night (night before my swim) that whist I was in the pool I was getting dive bombed by kids, someone nicked me goggles and someone had a poo in the pool so they closed it down.Thankfully it was just a dream!!!

Got up at 7am and had two boiled eggs and large cup of tea for breakfast. Got boys ready, Cam going to my Mums, Luca going to my friends, James just surfacing and India having Golden Grahams! All in the car for 8.45...nervous doesnt even go there. Got to the Baths for 9am. Got in the pool for 9.20am...........all my fantastic friends on the balcony, cheering me on.

Niki my friend (who works for The Swimming Club) counting my laps. So here goes then!!!!! Nicki stopped me after my first 50 Lengths, had water and 30 second break. When I stopped at my first 50 everyone on the balcony clapped and so did the public who were swimming in the pool, it was awesome, will never forget that! That happened everytime I finished 50 lengths.

At about 1.10pm I had done 300, but I decided to push myself and do another 20, which would take me to 5 miles for James!

Iona, my friends little girl had made a lovely banner with her Sister Nancy..

Photos were taken inside of all the children together with my banner, and then a photo outside of all of us. Will put those on as soon as I have them.

What a fantastic Journey I've been on !! Cant believe I met my target and went well beyond! I have almost doubled my target. What set out as £500 then went to £1000 and now im at £1,990 TOTALLY AMAZING !! and I could not have done it without your support.... Thank you so much !
