We are raising money for CHICKS through a trek to Mount Roraima, Venezuela (the mountain that inspired Arthur Conan Doyle's 'The Lost World' [for those like Annie who dont know, he's the guy who wrote the Sherlock Holmes stories]).
CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) provides free respite holidays for kids from underprivileged backgrounds. Run from their centres in Devon and Cornwall they take children aged 8-15 from across the UK. This gives the kids a proper holiday and a break from their normal situation.
