My story

 
The death of a baby or another loved one is difficult to bear at any time of the year. Yet at Christmas, with so much emphasis on children and families sharing happy times together; those feelings of grief can often seem overwhelming.

This year we will have four Lights of Love services in Wales, Northern Ireland, Nottingham and London.  You are welcome to choose which venue you would like your light and message to be at.

Please email shop@uk-sands.org after you have made your donation to advise on your chosen location and also if you would like a slightly longer message to appear on the handmade message tag than you can fit on here.  Otherwise we put the message that appears on this page on a card on your behalf and unless we hear further we will assume you are happy for your message (if applicable) to be hung on the Lights of Love tree in St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London.  The tree will be lit during our candlelit concert at St Paul's and will remain illuminated throughout the Christmas period.

All you need to do is decide the number of lights you wish to sponsor and then click on the "donate" button above. Suggested donation of £5 per light with message tag (optional) attached to the tree on your behalf.

The much needed funds raised through the 'Lights of Love' will help Sands continue to support the people devastated by the death of a baby. Thank you.
