Hello Everyone,

Thank you so much for your support. Well the race is run!

As you know I ran the Edinburgh Marathon and not London in the end

Edinburgh was a cold windy morning when we started at 09.00hrs with 30mile winds in our faces. 13,000 people from all over the world!

The scenery was great, along the coast line, past the castle amongst stately hone and through lovely villages. Lots of cheering support, what a difference that makes. Especially when someone says you look amazing, knowing full well that you do look like you have been running for the 5hrs you have done! The end of the run was sunny, hot and dry, still windy. Lots of fun costumes and happy faces. Will I do it again??
